Leather Cover HGU Visor Cover & Lock Knob

This service includes professionally covering your existing flight helmet visor housing in premium leather, replicating the distinctive style commonly seen on U.S. Navy TOPGUN instructor helmets during the 1980s. The leather covering for the visor lock knob is included with the visor housing service. Visor lock knobs may also be covered separately if desired.

This listing is for the leather covering service only and does not include a visor housing or visor lock knob.

For the cleanest, most authentic appearance, I recommend sending the complete helmet. When the helmet is available, the mounting screws can be concealed beneath the leather for a seamless, factory-quality finish. If only the visor housing is provided, the mounting screws will remain exposed after installation.
