Maverick HGU-33 TOPGUN Restoration

Movie-Accurate 1986 "Maverick" Helmet Conversion services start at $1,000 for labor and do not include the donor helmet or any helmet components.

Each helmet is meticulously transformed to replicate the iconic helmet featured in the 1986 film, using the correct period-accurate paint color and carefully researched details. Every project is tailored to the individual helmet and the customer's desired level of authenticity, ensuring a finished product worthy of the original.

Because each donor helmet varies in condition and completeness, every conversion is quoted individually. Factors such as the helmet's condition, required repairs, missing components, and requested options all affect the final price.

To achieve the correct appearance and long-term durability, every conversion includes a new leather edge roll. Existing edge rolls on donor helmets cannot be reused as part of this process.

If you already own a suitable donor helmet, please send photos for a personalized evaluation and detailed quote. If you do not have a helmet to start with, I can also discuss available options for sourcing and building a complete helmet for you.

Please contact me directly for a personalized consultation and an accurate, no-obligation quote.
