Artemis II is NASA’s first crewed mission of the Artemis program and the first crewed flight of the Space Launch System rocket and Orion spacecraft. The historic mission will carry four astronauts—Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Jeremy Hansen—around the Moon and back to Earth. Building on the success of Artemis I, the mission represents a major step toward returning humans to the lunar surface and establishing a long-term human presence at the Moon.
