Top Gun Fighter Weapons School HGU-33 Pilot Helmet Long Sleeve Tee

This shirt features a Fighter Weapons School instructor HGU-33 restored by PFH.

During the 1980s, the U.S. Navy Fighter Weapons School—better known as TOPGUN—trained elite naval aviators in advanced air-to-air combat tactics at NAS Miramar, California. Flying aircraft such as the F-5E/F Tiger II and A-4 Skyhawk as adversaries against fleet fighters including the F-14 Tomcat, TOPGUN instructors recreated the tactics of potential enemy aircraft to sharpen the skills of Navy fighter crews. The school’s demanding training, colorful adversary aircraft, and unmistakable flight gear helped define one of the most iconic eras in U.S. Naval Aviation history.
